Description Living and Food
Bottlenose dolphins live in all the seas except the polar seas. There are 2 groups. One lives near the coast lines and form pods which has about 12 members. The other group lives in the open sea and form pods with about 100 members. They eat fish and squid and they herd their prey. They may follow their prey into the freashwater. They also use echolocation to communicate. Echolocation is a range of clicking sounds that bounce back.
